Hanturium – Beta Demo

Hanturium is a nursing murder mystery horror game where a nurse attempts to prevent spirits from killing her patient and figure out who’s sending them to kill him.

In Hanturium you are a nurse who works in 1985’s Mertahita Hospital, and you’ve just received a wealthy patient who has arrived with mysterious symptoms. All of the relatives are suspects and one will visit each night. You chat with them and work with the family doctor and their spiritual guide to prevent your patient dying. A randomized mystery system ensures replayability as players can’t rely on previous knowledge to solve cases.

Each night you either need to find three anomalies caused by spirits or spot three medical anomalies in the ICU machine. You then need to use this information to figure out what the problem is and relay the information to the family’s doctor or spiritual advisor.

It has a few rough edges and could do with a little more complexity on the medical problems side, but it’s a great concept and the spirit detecting side is a lot of fun. The artwork is also excellent and the fact that the killer is randomized each time is a nice touch that adds replayability. A great bit of haunted hospital horror.
