HardAF is a precision speedrunning splatformer where you see the game world by splattering it with the blood of your previous attempts.
Playing HardAF is like playing Super Meat Boy with the lights off. The levels are essentially just blank screens when you first step into them, but that doesn’t mean there’s nothing there – there’s plenty of deadly hazards waiting to turn you into a bloody pulp. Dying is actually quite handy though, as it coats the environment with your blood, allowing you to see more of it – so the more times you die, the easier it gets!
It’s a challenging but addictive game with a fun premise that makes each death worthwhile. You’ve just gotta feel a little bit bad for the poor little fellas who go first!
