HAUNTMATES is a co-op horror game about avoiding monsters and investigating procedurally generated locations to identify the entity’s name.
In HAUNTMATES, enter the site and carefully explore procedurally generated environments using equipment to gather evidence. Collecting data is the only way to successfully complete the contract and identify the entity. Complete side quests throughout the area to increase your total payout, then reach the extraction point once you’ve secured the name. Do not leave without it.
Various monsters occupy the site while you investigate, each following unique AI behavior and specific gameplay mechanics. Learn how they move and react to finish your investigation alive. Difficulty escalates the longer you stay – monsters become more aggressive and pressure mounts. Speed and efficiency are the only ways to ensure your team makes it out before the situation becomes unmanageable. Check it out to identify the entity.
