Closed Beta sign ups are now live for Hell is Others – a top-down PvPvE survival horror shooter set in a world where blood is literally currency.
Previously featured on Alpha Beta Gamer during the closed Alpha sign up last year, Hell is Others is a top-down online multiplayer survival horror game set in a city filled with freaky shadowy monsters. You have a small apartment where you can shelter from the horrors and tend to your plants, but like everything else in the city, they require blood to survive, so you must venture out to harvest some.
Out on the streets you’ll not only encounter all manner of AI controlled monsters, but other players who turn up in your world as shadowy entities called The Others. Defeating The Others will not only earn you blood, but will allow you to steal the precious items they’ve scavenged on their travels.
You only have a limited amount of time to carry out your business on the streets and you need to make sure you’re safely locked up in your apartment before it’s too late. The blood you collect on your excursions will allow you to grow and upgrade ammo that you harvest from your plant. You’ll also be able to decorate and upgrade your apartment for some extra perks.
