HMUR is a fast-paced Hotline Miami and DUSK inspired retro-FPS set in an alternate 1990s USSR, where a mysterious research facility is plunged into chaos.
Blending Soviet aesthetics with frantic ’90s shooter dynamics, HMUR is a hardcore run ‘n gun FPS that follows Sergei, a utility worker caught in catastrophic chaos at Mirnogorsk’s classified facility. It features fast-paced Hotline Miami style one-hit-one kill gameplay and lots of cool knee-sliding going on. Death teaches precision and speed, transforming combat into a lethal dance where stopping means death.
HMUR features non-linear levels with secrets to discover and branching pathways that often affect which weapons you use. Environmental storytelling through audio recordings and hidden clues reveals the facility’s tragic downfall.
It’s a very cool game with fast paced gameplay, satisfying guns, excellent level design and a thumping techno, hard bass, and breakcore soundtrack. Sign up for the Beta for some adrenaline-fueled Soviet madness.
