I am not a Monster: First Contact is a single-player focused take on I am not a Monsters’ pulp Sci-Fi turn-based strategy game which tells the story of how the starship Albatross was invaded by alien monsters.
The original I am not a Monster game was featured on Alpha Beta Gamer during last year’s open Beta and was since launched to positive reviews. It’s an X-COM-esque multiplayer turn based tactics game where each player controls a single unit and one (or more) of their crew are alien monsters in disguise.
I am not a Monster: First Contact will allow players to see how their starship came to be invaded by alien monsters with a full single-player campaign. It’ll feature over 30 levels, with events seen from the point of view of eight playable characters, including the heroic Flash Gordon-esque Captain Laser.
The original I am not a Monster multiplayer game had a great premise, deep tactical gameplay and a fantastic pulp Sci-Fi visual style so it’ll be a delight to set foot back in the universe for some single player adventures. Sign up now to suit up for the Beta.
