I Wanna Be The GUI is a quirky little puzzle game where you attempt to learn how to become a good GUI and assist players as they make their way through the game.
I Wanna Be The GUI is a puzzle platformer where you don’t control the character – you control the on-screen user interface. In each level of the game you need to use your GUI to assist the player in making it to the end. You’re new at the job of being a GUI, but thankfully you have a teacher who helps you get to grips with it – from selecting dialog options to providing platforms for the character to walk across.
It’s a little rough around the edges and it only takes a few minutes to play through I Wanna Be The GUI but it’s a fun little game with a great concept. It would be nice to see it expanded on in the future as there are lots of interesting ways the GUI based puzzle gameplay could be fleshed out.
