INCISION is a brutal and very fast paced retro styled FPS set in a city that’s been enslaved by an ever-consuming mass of flesh.
Previously featured on Alpha Beta Gamer last year, INCISION is an old school boomer shooter inspired by Doom, Quake, Blood and Shadow Warrior. In the game you take on the role of a lone soldier as he blasts his way through the mutated mind-controlled hordes of a huge flesh monster. You’re massively outnumbered, but thankfully you have some serious firepower at hand and you’re extremely fast and agile.
The INCISION demo build features one large level that really impresses with its size and scope. It’s a tough game, but much more balanced than the previous builds and there’s a nice flow to the gameplay. All of the weapons pack a punch and their alternate fire modes really come in handy when you’re in a pinch. It essentially has everything you could possibly want from a retro FPS – great map design, big guns and brutal frags. Highly recommended.
