INCISION is a brutal and blood-splattered old school boomer shooter where you blast your way through a city that’s been infected by a nightmarish growth that turns its citizens into grotesque monsters.
Drawing inspiration from 90’s classics like Quake, INCISION is a fast paced FPS set in a city that’s been devastated by a massive growth. The growth consumes people for sustenance and spits out their twisted remains, turning them into a grotesque army of mutants that attack trespassers on sight.
The current prototype build was created in just a month, and even though a few rough edges (and absolutely no checkpoints), it’s a hell of a lot of fun. It’s very tough and it’s not a brainless run ‘n gun shooter – you can only take a small amount of damage, ammo is quite scarce and you need to use the right gun for the right situation. Both guns in the current build of INCISION feel great, but the pump-action shotgun (with a cluster grenade launcher) is particularly enjoyable to use and often results in delightfully brutal gibs that shower blood and body parts everywhere.
It’s a very promising game that looks set to deliver an intense skill-based old school FPS with big guns and buckets of blood. Every encounter feels lethal in this brutal retro FPS and you’ll have to get good to survive it.
