Innards is a very strange non-Euclidean adventure set within the hyperbolic folds of a long-abandoned Internet, rendered in a strange and eccentric stop motion style.
In Innards you play Dex, a low-level functionary for a crime syndicate who would rather relax at home than deal with rumors of a metastasizing cult worshipping the corpse that birthed this digital wasteland. As the cult threatens his employer’s profits, Dex must slice through Junkbags and navigate negatively curved terrain using Metroidvania style progression and simple, satisfying combat.
It’s a fascinating game with a very unique visual style and lots of great humor. Its sprawling, interconnected world is filled with interesting things to discover and impossible, mind-bending geometry. Highly recommended.
