Inside the Flesh Engine is a surreal and grotesque first person horror adventure set within a massive industrial plant that’s swallowed an entire planet.
In Inside the Flesh Engine you are born inside a massive fleshy megastructure and have been brought into existence to serve the Flesh Engine. You must seek out flesh and feed it to the Flesh Engine. Your journeys won’t be pleasant and they will throw up lots of twisted surprises, but if you do your job maybe you’ll be allowed to live.
The Inside the Flesh Engine demo takes around 20 minutes to play through and is an interesting, horrifying and weird experience. You feed a few flesh puppies to the machine and you have strange out of body experiences that involve different types of gameplay. It’s hard to make sense of much of it, but it’s a fascinating experience with a very oppressive atmosphere and excellent monster design. A dark and twisted stomach-churning adventure well worth checking out.
