Alpha sign ups have reopened for Insurgency: Sandstorm, the intense team-based multiplayer-focused FPS sequel to Insurgency.
As we mentioned during the previous Alpha sign up, Insurgency: Sandstorm is a multiplayer-focused FPS that features deep tactical combat in a fictionalised modern urban setting. It has a selection of 16 v 16 game modes and 8 player cooperative PvE with an emphasis on objective oriented gameplay.
Dropping the single player campaign has allowed the Insurgency: Sandstorm devs to focus on delivering a multiplayer experience that’s improved and expanded in every way. It now features character customization, vehicles, positional voice-chat, a lot more weapons and new tactical features such as the ability to peek around corners or breaching doorways.
It’s a great looking game and judging by the recently released E3 gameplay trailer, it delivers a much more intense and tactical squad-based military FPS experience than the likes of CoD and Battlefield. Sign up now to see what real modern warfare is all about.
