Jonathan’s Whale is a wonderfully weird little adventure about a man and his whale, with some incredibly bizarre twists along the way.
Jonathan’s Whale takes around 10 minutes to play through and the enjoyment comes from the strange surprises so we won’t ruin them here. It starts with you sitting in a boat in a garbage-filled inner-city river with a fishing rod. There’s no fish to catch but you can at least try to catch some of the junk that’s floating on the surface. It’s quite a chilled out experience, but (in line with the theme of the UE4 game jam it was created for) things escalate very quickly!
It’s a fun little adventure with some great visual design and some very surreal twists. As you can guess from the title of the game, a whale is involved, but you’ll never guess where this weird and wonderful adventure takes you!
Note: Use the mouse scroll wheel to control the distance that you cast your rod.
