You can now sign up for the Kingdom Hearts: Missing Link Beta, but only if you’re based in Australia, New Zealand or the United Kingdom.
Kingdom Hearts: Missing Link is a Kingdom Hearts spin-off that’s coming to iOS and Android. It will be an action RPG with fast paced combat and utilises GPS positioning. Obviously it will feature Disney and Square Enix characters, but the story will revolve around a character new to the franchise.
Mobile spin-offs can be a little hit and miss, but Kingdom Hearts: Missing Link is being developed in-house at Square Enix with involvement of serres creator Tetsuya Nomura, which seems promising. The Beta is due to start on 29th November for iOs users while Android users will have to wait until January 2024, and weirdly you’ll need to be in Australia, New Zealand or the United Kingdom to sign up (though you may be able to use a VPN to get around this).
