Krypta is a challenging little precision platforming adventure where you use the recoil of you blunderbuss to propel you through the air as you attempt to retrieve a crown from a mysterious underground temple.
Created by students at The Game Assembly, Krypta is a tricky little platforming adventure where you jump, wall-jump wall-slide and use your blunderbuss recoil to make your way through a hazard filled temple. You blunderbuss isn’t much use for killing enemies but you can aim it in any direction and fire to make the recoil propel you in the opposite direction. Unless you collect special glowing lanterns then you can only use the blunderbuss once each time you’re in the air, so you need to be fairly precise with your aiming and firing.
Taking around 20 minutes to play through, it’s a well crafted little precision platforming adventure with a high level of polish, a great visual style and some very challenging level design. A fun little blunderbuss blasting adventure well worth checking out.
