Kuzo is a 2D Metroidvania platformer where you play as a celestial spirit wielding the Shape, an ancient technology that lets you create platforms from lily pads, transform hazards into terrain, and literally build your own path through a lush but fallen paradise.
In Kuzo you awaken after a thousand-year slumber to discover an overgrown planet drowning in mystery, exploring interconnected hand-crafted environments ranging from civilization’s ruins to uncharted underground caves. The Shape grants world-altering abilities that expand your creative navigation options, spawn rising platforms on water surfaces, control moving lifts with gesture-mimicking magic, or generate crawling vines across low ceilings.
Puzzle-box dungeons each introduce unique mechanics while housing critical abilities, and secrets hide in plain sight waiting for players who understand the world’s systems. Collectible items allow playstyle customization as you help stranded NPCs and unravel the environmental storytelling revealing what catastrophe befell this once-thriving civilization.
