Laser League has entered open Beta, with players able to download and join in the fast paced laser-filled futuristic full-contact sport now!
Previously featured on Alpha Beta Gamer during the closed Beta, Laser League is a high-octane futuresport from the creators of OlliOlli and NOT A HERO that sees players using speed, skill and strategy to fry their opponents with lasers. Matches in Laser League are team based affairs with players fighting for control of nodes that fill the arena with deadly lasers.
In the game you have to evade your opponents colored lasers whilst attempting to eviscerate them with yours. There are 60 unique characters to choose from, belonging to six unique classes (Smash Thief, Ghost, Shock, Snipe and Blade) and 16 different power ups that can be picked up on the arena floor that can drastically affect the momentum of the match.
It’s a fun game, with futuristic gladiatorial combat in super cool neon-filled TRON style arenas. It scratches the same frantic fast paced futuristic sports itch as Rocket League and makes for some pretty intense multiplayer matches. Join in now and see how you fare in the arena.
