Lelu is a striking monochromatic puzzle-platformer where you play as a tiny clockwork toy who’s developed consciousness and decided factory life isn’t for them.
In Lelu you control the titular wind-up hero through an abandoned toy factory that serves as both prison and playground. The game primarily features environmental puzzles involving conveyor belts and electric circuits, which you’ll need to navigate while avoiding or confronting other sentient toys who don’t share your passion for freedom.
As you progress you’ll unlock various abilities that help you overcome increasingly complex challenges. There are plenty of secrets tucked away in the factory’s nooks and crannies if you’re the type who enjoys thorough exploration (and yes, there might actually be something behind that waterfall).
It’s a charming little adventure with surprisingly nuanced platforming mechanics, striking black-and-white visuals, and a fascinating world to explore. A great little monochromatic adventure with tons of style.
