Little Nemo and the Guardians of Slumberland is a wholesome hand animated 2D metroidvania action platforming adventure where a young boy sets out on an adventure in a world of dreams.
Drawing inspiration from classic NES era platformers (especially Super Mario Bros 2), Little Nemo and the Guardians of Slumberland is a charming adventure based on Winsor McCay’s Little Nemo comics. In the game you take on the role of the titular Nemo, a young boy who is transported into a dream world whenever he goes to sleep. There you’ll meet mysterious strangers, explore and battle enemies armed with candy, toys and stuffed animals.
The gameplay is a little on the easy side, but it’s a delightful platforming adventure that is certain to put a smile on your face. The character animation is particularly impressive and it’s refreshing to play a game where the worst thing that can happen to you is that you’ll wake up!
