Lovecraft’s Untold Stories 2 is a roguelite action RPG that draws inspiration from the works of H.P. Lovecraft as you continue the fight against The Old Ones.
While the original Lovecraft’s Untold Stories was a single player affair with a top-down pixel art visual style, Lovecraft’s Untold Stories 2 looks set to shake things up a little with four player co-op and a new isometric comic book art style. In the game you’ll be able to play as one of six uniquely skilled characters – The Detective, The Professor and The Witch from the first installment and newcomers The Medium, The Alienist and The Veteran.
The story of Lovecraft’s Untold Stories 2 picks up just after the first one ended and will take you to new locations as you solve puzzles, collect loot, fight eldritch abominations and try to defeat The Old Ones. You’ll also be able to use blueprints and resources to craft new equipment that will aid your fight.
With its new art style, multiplayer co-op and crafting, Lovecraft’s Untold Stories 2 looks set to be a very different game from the original, but one thing remains the same – there are plenty of eldritch abominations that need blasted. Sign up for the Beta to see if you’re up to the task!
