Luna Abyss is a visually stunning narrative-driven FPS with a focus on bullet-hell combat as you explore a massive alien megastructure.
Previously featured on Alpha Beta Gamer during the closed Beta sign up, Luna Abyss is a Sci-Fi bullet hell FPS set within a vast derelict megastructure deep beneath the surface of an alien moon. In the game you take on the role of a prisoner called Fawkes, who is tasked with venturing through the megastructure and recovering forgotten technology. Along the way you’ll discover more about the downfall of those that built the place and you’ll unravel your own cryptic prophecy.
The current demo build of Luna Abyss features around 30 minutes of gameplay and does an excellent job of immersing you in its world. There’s a real sense of scale to the environments, the guns feel great and the lore is very interesting. Also, the bullet hell combat is satisfyingly intense and feels very different from traditional Sci-Fi FPS games. Highly recommended.
