MARVEL Cosmic Invasion is a glorious pixel art beat ‘em up that sends famous Marvel heroes planet-hopping across the Marvel universe to battle Annihilus – the living death who threatens all existence.
Currently in development by the creators of Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge and Steel Assault, MARVEL Cosmic Invasion is a fast, fun and vibrant beat ‘em up set in the Marvel Universe. The game features an innovative “Cosmic Swap” system that lets players select two heroes per level, switching between them instantly to create devastating combo chains and tactical advantages. This fresh mechanic transforms traditional beat ’em up gameplay into something more strategic.
The demo features two full levels and nine playable characters, including Spider-Man, Wolverine, Captain America, Venom, She-Hulk, and lesser-known powerhouses like Phyla-Vell. Each brings unique abilities that encourage creative team-ups. It’s a beautifully animated game that does a great job of bringing Marvel’s iconic characters to life, and the Cosmic Swap function helps to keep the gameplay fresh. Highly recommended.
