Metavoidal is a rock ‘n roll roguelite where a drummer attempts to escape from the clutches of the corrupted hordes of eldritch band members.
In Metavoidal you are a drummer who discovers that a heavy metal band he was auditioning for are actually eldritch entities. You’ll now need to use the band’s own music against them as you combine different track elements and battle hordes of monsters. You’ll need to defeat all of the band members to break the curse and earn your freedom.
It’s a fun twist on the classic roguelite dungeon crawler formula, with excellent pixel art animation and an entertaining mix of metal and monster-slaying mayhem. You won’t need to keep the beat, but you will need to beat things up!
