Might & Magic Heroes VII is the latest instalment of the popular turn based strategy game from Ubisoft, in which players control magical Heroes who command their forces in epic fantasy battles.
Games of Might & Magic Heroes VII are divided into two phases – the adventure map and battle arenas. Battles are set on a Chess-like board, with players taking it in turn to move and use units in deeply tactical combat. On the Risk-esque adventure map players can build and upgrade their castle, collect resources, capture territory and amass a mighty army. Across the lore-rich single player campaign and online multiplayer, matches are won when all the other players have been vanquished.
As with any Might & Magic game, there’s a rich lore and immersive storyline, with an impressive selection of characters from six factions – Haven, Academy, Necropolis, Stronghold, Sylvan and Dungeon. It’s a great looking game, offering strategic turn based combat steeped in lore and history.
