Mortal Shell II is a dark action RPG that casts you as the Harbinger, a prophesied warrior possessing fallen Shells to reclaim sacred artifacts from zealots and abominations in a ravaged world.
In Mortal Shell II you’ll experience the opening three hours spanning the Prologue through the first explorable region. Seek out Tiel the Acolyte, one of eight playable Shells, and possess his remains to awaken innate abilities while uncovering buried secrets. The beta lets you cleanse beacons, explore optional dungeons, and confront hidden mini bosses before facing Magdalena, the Lady of the Woods. Combat features brutal sword fights with blood sprays, execution maneuvers, and medieval firearms against twisted foes guarding their unholy treasures. Your progress holds tangible rewards since completing Marrow Keep unlocks the Prologue skip for the full release.
Players who participate will earn The Flayed Harbinger, an exclusive cosmetic available at launch. While currency, weapons, and collectibles reset to preserve balance, the memories of what awaits in this unforgiving land will remain. This is an in development build so expect rough edges as the team continues polishing. A soulslike that will show you a shell of a good time.
