PC owners can now sign up for Beta of the long awaited Mount & Blade 2: Bannerlord, which will allow players to ride for glory and take part in epic battles on the battlefields of Calradia.
Taking place 200 years before the events of Mount & Blade: Warband, Mount & Blade 2: Bannerlord vastly expands the world and the detailed combat systems of its predecessor. You’ll be able to construct and use heavy siege machinery build defensive structures, engage in diplomacy, form marriage offers and treason pacts, and exploit the simulated feudal economy to your gain.
Mount & Blade 2: Bannerlord will also allow players to craft their own weapons and use them in battle. The game’s deep physics based combat system means that the unique attributes, strengths and weaknesses of each weapon can have a big effect on their effectiveness in battle.
It’s been a long time coming, but it looks like Mount & Blade 2: Bannerlord is finally nearing release. It’s due to enter Steam Early Access in March 2020 and there has been some limited Beta testing going on already, but the devs are planning to let in a lot more players – sign up for the Beta for a chance to join in the fun!
