Mourning Tide is an atmospheric horror fishing game where a guilt-ridden fisherman catches freaky fish in forbidden waters.
In Mourning Tide you are a lone fisher man who has taken his ship out to fish in forbidden waters. Things start off fairly normally and peacefully as you cast your line and reel in various normal fish, but with every catch, twisted echoes of your part rise up and things start to get weird, and the fish get pretty weird too!
There are a surprising amount of horror fishing games now, but Mourning Tide is shaping up to be a real highlight. The way the sea transforms throughout envelopes you in a deep sense of dread and the fishing mechanics are legitimately some of the best thought out in a fishing game, making each different fish a unique challenge. Guilt-ridden fishing horror that will get you hooked.
