mr mayor tells your fortune recounts a story and offers you snacks is a wonderfully weird little experience where a quirky little mayor delivers randomly generated fortunes and stories, then feeds you food.
mr mayor tells your fortune recounts a story and offers you snacks does pretty much what the title suggests, but the title doesn’t relay quite how superbly silly the whole thing will be. First you are given three randomly selected cards, that can be anything from an egg taco to mermaid aubergine (a merbergine). The mayor will then proceed to regale you with a randomly generated fortune telling, followed by a randomly generated story, topped off with a randomly generated meal for you to eat too.
You have very little interaction with the game other than just clicking to continue, but it doesn’t really matter as it’s so much fun to spend time with Mr Mayor (who looks an awful lot like the Pringles man) and hear his ridiculous randomly generated nonsense. It doesn’t take a fortune teller to know you’ll have a fun time with this delightfully silly little game.
