You can now sign up to Beta test MultiVersus, Warner Bros’ take on the Smash Bros style platform brawler genre, where you can see Bugs Bunny beat up Batman or Arya Stark assassinate Shaggy from Scooby Doo.
If you saw the (rather bad) Space Jam: A New Legacy movie then you’ll have an idea of what to expect in MultiVersus. It’s a multiplayer platform brawler filled with characters from an eclectic mix of Warner Bros IP.
More characters will be added over time, but the initial roster of characters include Superman, Batman, Harley Quinn, Wonder Woman, Shaggy, Jake the Dog, Finn the Human, Bugs Bunny, Arya Stark, Steven Universe, Garnet, Reindog and Tom and Jerry. It will feature team-based 2v2 matches, as well as more traditional 1v1 and 4 player free-for-all modes. It will also have rollback netcode and initial word is that it plays a little more like Brawlhalla than Smash Bros. Sign up for the Beta to enter the Multiverse early!
