Murderous Pursuits is a multiplayer stealth murder ‘em up from the creators of The Ship, in which players attempt to blend in with the passengers aboard the HMCS Britannic while attempting to assassinate targets without getting caught.
Playable in single player or online with up to eight players, Murderous Pursuits sees you attempting to sneak up on your targets and eliminate them. You have a choice of nefarious killers to choose from and must attempt to blend in with the other passengers on the ship as you stalk your targets – because you’re being hunted too!
The best assassins will avoid revealing themselves until the last moment. You have useful abilities such as disguise, flash and counter to help you outwit your opponents and you can also search the ship for high-scoring weapons to bump them off with.
It’s a great looking game that gives you free reign to roam the sumptuous HMCS Britannic and (if The Ship is anything to go by) the devs certainly know how to do subterfuge on a boat well. You’ll need your wits about you to survive on a boat full of potential killers hiding in plain sight.
