Never Forgotten is a surreal 1-Bit styled turn-based survival horror adventure set in an abandoned world that’s covered in grotesque fleshy masses.
In Never Forgotten you are a lone wanderer who is clearly going through some internal struggles over the loss of a loved one. You find yourself in a strange dying world that’s filled with horrifying creatures and pulsating flesh. It also contains fragments from your past which will help solve puzzles and piece together your tragic story.
The turn-based combat is pretty dull and would probably be best just removed from the game altogether, but the puzzles are well done and the world building is excellent. the nightmarish fleshy world is a fascinating place to explore and although the creatures you encounter are horrifying, you get an old feeling that maybe you’re the real monster.
