Created for the Major Jam: Isolation game jam, No Need For Best is a harrowing little game set in a post-apocalyptic world that’s been devastated by a pathogen. In the game you control a little white dog as it searches for its best friend (it’s master) in and around his home. As you explore you learn more about your master. You have full faith in him, but as you explore a voice starts to nag at you, asking if he really did try his best.
No Need For Best is a pretty grim game to be playing in these troubled times, but it’s a beautifully crafted little experience with an interesting story and a powerful message. Now is a time when we really need to try our best.
