Obsession is a dark and disturbing psychological horror game about a young woman whose emotions manifest as a monster as she tries to get over the loss of her fiance.
Created for the SCREAMCITY game jam by Asephy (creator of the Untitled Horror Game), Obsession is a suort and unsettling point and click horror game about a young woman who is dealing with the death of her fiance. The game starts in her in a doctor’s office, as she’s prescribed medication to help with her depression, but when they don’t work her negative emotions begin to manifest themselves as a grotesque monster that follows her around. Will she be able to let go of her fiance and move on?
Taking around 15 minutes to play through, Obsession impresses with its excellent pixel artwork and unsettling audio design. It’s the story that really grips you though, with a delightfully dark twist ending that makes you question EVERYTHING that went before. Highly recommended.
