Odd Town is a compact open-world mystery with retro visuals and Twin Peaks-inspired strangeness as you get in trouble after your car breaks down in a small French town.
In Odd Town your car has broken down in the small town of Saint Sectaire, and what begins as misfortune quickly spirals into a surreal nightmare. You’ll navigate cobblestone streets populated by eccentric locals who remember your actions – make friends or enemies based on your choices. Take odd jobs as a baker or janitor to earn cash for tools, disguises, or bribes while uncovering a disturbing web of kidnapping, corruption, and murder beneath the town’s quaint façade.
The demo sees you exploring the town, helping out some locals and assembling a task force to investigate the mysterious disappearances in the town. You can also get up to plenty of mischief – though you’ll have to be careful, the cops are persistent and very tazer-happy!
It’s a great game that gives you a fun and cozy sandbox to play around in, and has plenty of quirky locals to befriend (or annoy). An Odd Town filled with odd people and odd jobs to do. Highly recommended.
