Out of the Window is a fun little puzzle platformer where you reveal the game world and freeze time by moving the game window over your desktop.
Created for the Completion Jam, Out of the Window is a short and inventive little platformer that takes place on your desktop. Only a small part of the levels are revealed in the game window, but if you grab it with the mouse then you can move it around your desktop to reveal the rest of it. Certain parts of the level only activate when revealed by the window, allowing you to effectively freeze time by avoiding highlighting them.
You can play through Out of the Window in under five minutes, so it is pretty short, but it’s a great concept that makes inventive use of its game window manipulating mechanics. A clever little platformer that thinks outside of the box.
