You don’t so much play the game, as figure out how to bypass the various glitches that are preventing you from playing it. Initially it feels like you’re playing a broken bootleg game ROM but as you delve deeper things get a whole lot weirder…
Taking around 30 minutes to play through, Pause Screen From Battletoads/Double Dragon is a remarkable little game that’s packed full of inventive puzzles and weird surprises. Some puzzles may feel infuriatingly hard, but often the solution is more simple than you think – you just have to think outside of the box. Highly recommended.
