Perfect Tides is a charming looking retro pixel art point and click adventure set in the year 2000, that tells the story of an internet obsessed teen writer who lives in a so-called island paradise.
In Perfect Tides you follow the coming of age story of Mara, a teen girl who lives on a beautiful sunny island. She’s a promising young writer, she’s obsessed with the internet and she struggles to fit in at the mainland school. On her adventure you’ll experience her life on the island and on the mainland through the four seasons of the year as she embarks on her ever-evolving quest for love, friendship and experience.
The artwork and animation in Perfect Tides is fantastic, but what really sets it apart is the subject matter. You’re not on a quest to save the world or search for treasure, it’s a much more heartfelt and grounded story about finding yourself and your place in the world.
