pla_toon is a light-hearted multiplayer military shooter that features charming cartoony visuals, high calibre weapons, environmental destruction and drivable vehicles.
Previously featured on Alpha Beta Gamer two years ago while it was still named plaToon, pla_toon brings physics-based cartoon violence to the multiplayer military shooter. It’s playable in first person or third person and features Deathmatch, Team-Deathmatch and Capture The Flag game modes (with Co-op Base Defense Vs Bots coming soon). There’s only a handful of weapons at the moment and only one type of vehicle (the Biplane), but more are planned, including a rideable ostrich!
It’s still pretty rough around the edges, but it’s a fun game with a charming visual style and physics that make you feel more like you’re playing with your toy soldiers rather than being in a real battle zone. Easy to pick up and play and is great for a little bit of multiplayer run n’ gun fun.
