Polydeuces is an atmospheric six degrees of freedom Sci-Fi horror game where you pilot a drone with a couple of mechanical arms that it uses it to grab objects and operate mechanisms.
Created for the Haunted PS1 Summer of Screams game jam, in Polydeuces you take control of a drone as it completes a series of objectives in a zero gravity environment. Your only form of interaction with the environment is your mechanical arms that stick out in front of you, with you able to close them to clamp onto objects and open them to release. This comes in handy in a variety of ways on your mission – such as allowing you to clamp onto door handles then spin the whole drone to release the lock and open the door.
Taking around 20 minutes to play through, Polydeuces has a great sense of atmosphere and fun physics based gameplay. You can pull off some remarkably delicate maneuvers with your vehicle once you get the hang of it and you do some pretty weird stuff with it towards the end! Highly recommended.
