Population Zero is an online multiplayer open world survival game that sees competing colonies and factions fighting for dominance in a resource-rich and dangerous alien planet.
In Population Zero you are a colonist whose ship got lost and ended up on an unknown alien planet full of resources and inhabited by huge Starship Trooper-esque bugs. As you explore the vibrant alien world alongside hundreds of other players you’ll gather resources, build colonies, fight enemies (alien and human) and discover the many secrets the planet has to offer.
The planet is home to large bug-like alien creatures that come in many forms and can be a good source of valuable resources. They’re clever and skillful creatures though which will put up a good fight and have their own unique algorithms that determine their actions. These alien bugs will no doubt be dangerous, though a more formidable threat may come from the other factions that are fighting over territory.
Population Zero is still early in development, with no gameplay footage available at the moment, but it sounds very promising, the art style in the screenshots looks superb and the alien creatures look very formidable.
