Previously featured on Alpha Beta Gamer during the closed Beta sign up, Population Zero is a massively multiplayer Sci-Fi sandbox MMORPG where survival is litteraly a race against time. In the game you will explore, fight and build on a beautiful but deadly alien planet, full of Starship Trooper-esque alien bugs that can be examined, fought or even befriended.
There’s lots to discover as you explore the frontiers of Population Zero’s unique alien world but you won’t have time for sightseeing. You have just 168 hours in real-time (whether you’re playing or not) to repair a reactor and restart your hibernation pod to save you from the devastating effects of “The Sphere”. Manage to survive and you’ll earn experience points that level up your player account, unlocking new game modes and session modifiers in the process.
It’s a fantastic looking game and resetting the game world every week should make for a very unique and fast paced MMORPG experience. The closed Beta will start on April 11th at 9am GMT and finish on April 13th at 9am GMT.
