Preternatural is a creepy psychological horror adventure that sees a young boy exploring his home as he attempts to deal with the emotional pain and guilt caused by the loss of loved ones.
In Preternatural you take control of Timmy, a young boy who wakes up in the middle of the night in his seemingly abandoned home. As you explore the house you’ll discover notes, newspaper clippings and hand drawn pictures that help piece together the narrative and why Timmy is alone in this dark and creepy place.
It’s a very well crafted horror adventure with some excellent audio/visual design and a mature narrative that doesn’t resort to bombarding you with jump scares and monsters. The real horror here is psychological, as Timmy tries to make sense of some very bad things that have happened in his life. Highly recommended.
