Project Kat: Paper Lily is a charming and creepy Anime styled RPG horror game where there are always multiple ways to solve puzzles as a schoolgirl attempts to carry out an occult ritual.
In Project Kat: Paper Lily you follow the story of Kat, a witty and intelligent schoolgirl who has an appetite for debunking myths and superstitions. She does this by performing any occult rituals she finds as authentically as possible, and when nothing happens it proves that she’s right. However, this latest spell may not be as phony as the rest and it may land Kat in a whole lot of trouble…
The Project Kat: Paper Lily prologue takes around 45 minutes to play through and features a whopping eight different endings to discover. Kat’s not alone in the building, she has some schoolmates who have broken in to do their own ouija board seance. Depending on your actions they may be of assistance and they may even join you, but only if you manage not to piss them off too much!
It’s a very promising game with high quality artwork, an interesting story, fun characters and a great soundtrack. Particularly impressive is the way you can solve puzzles in very different ways, often leading to different branches of the narrative or fun little easter eggs. Highly recommended.
