Project Wunderwaffe is a WWII era strategy game that tasks you with building and managing a secret underground Nazi base and keeping it hidden from your enemy.
Taking place during the tail end of WWII, when the Allies are attacking from the East and the Soviets are attacking from the West, it seems the Third Reich’s days are numbered, but they have one last trick up their sleeve. Project Wunderwaffe sees you building a huge self-sufficient underground base and using it to aid the German’s cause. You’ll mine resources, crack codes, develop new technology, construct weapons and utilise spies – all with an aim of stalling the advance of the Allies long enough to develop a super-weapons that may change the tide of the war.
It’s an interesting take on the strategy genre and although playing as the Nazis may not be the most palatable experience, constructing a secret underground base is exactly the sort of thing you could imaging them doing in WWII.
