Pyramid Plunge is a Spelunky-esque roguelike action platformer where an unlikely couple try to escape from a Great Pyramid filled with treasure, traps and deadly creatures.
In Pyramid Plunge you follow the adventure of Felicie (who is fond of reading and museums) and Giorgio (who is fond of beer and farting), who have managed to get separated from their tour group and are now trapped in a pyramid. Worse still they’ve entered a cursed chamber and caused the mummies and other deadly creatures to come alive. It’s now up to Giorgio to protect Felicie (who is paralysed in fear) from peril and find a way out of the pyramid.
The lighthearted roguelike action platforming gameplay of Pyramid Plunge looks fondly reminiscent of Spelunky, but with less digging/blowing things up and more of a focus on attempting to protect your paralysed partner from peril. As well as the single-player game mode you’ll also be able to play in local or online multiplayer and there are also online leaderboards to try and conquer.
