Ratten Reich is a great looking new real-time strategy game that takes place in a grim dieselpunk setting where a war is being fought between rats, mice, lizards and roaches.
In Ratten Reich you’ll step into a lore-rich dieselpunk world where a relentless war is being fought between rats, mice, lizards and cockroaches. The rats (the Ratten Riech) have an alliance with the lizards (The Sun Empire) and the mice (The Free Mouse Republic) have also formed an alliance with the roaches (The CAR). You’ll now choose a side and (hopefully) lead them to glory.
Ratten Reich will feature single-player and co-op skirmishes, competitive multiplayer and three large single-player campaigns. Each of the factions have their own rich lore, weapons and attributes that can be advantageous on the battlefield – such as the cockroaches’ chitinous shell giving them extra protection and the lizards having an advantage in the sea. Each faction also has a selection of highly customizable tanks, armored trains, aircraft and ships, that can really do some damage on the battlefield.
It’s a great looking game with spectacular real-time battles, lots of environmental destruction, meaningful differences between the factions and a lore-rich dieselpunk setting. Sign up for the Beta to let fly the rats of war!
