REalM: Walk of Soul is a beautifully drawn adventure in which you solve puzzles and battle monsters as you attempt to escape the surreal nightmarish world you’re trapped in.
With survival horror gameplay inspired by Resident Evil and Silent Hill, in REalM: Walk of Soul you play Iris, a girl who awakens in a nightmarish world, filled with mind-breaking enigmas, lush artwork and a haunting soundscape. It’s a mesmerizing place to explore, packed with surreal beauty and grotesque abominations. As she progresses, Iris must discover and master strange, new powers in order to solve puzzles, avoid monsters, and eventually escape this nightmare and return home.
We’ve featured REalM: Walk of Soul a couple of times already on Alpha Beta Gamer and were always impressed by the fantastic artwork and surreal dream like atmosphere, but found the character movement to be a little clunky. Thankfully the gameplay looks to be much improved, the puzzles seem more fully formed and those visuals are even more breathtaking than ever.
