Reggie is a beautifully animated platforming adventure where a gravity defying apple travels through space and time to save the world.
In Reggie you take on the role of a sentient apple from the 16,000th century. In this distant future where scientific achievements from the past are being erased. Among the many other things lost from the past is that the apple never fell on Isaac Newton’s head and he never figured out his theory of gravity. You need to go back in time and fall on his head and help him discover his theory. It turns out that’s just the start of your adventure though – your adventure will take you to alternate dimensions, black holes, a gnome university and back to a time when dinosaurs walked the Earth.
The gameplay in Reggie blends traditional platforming with VVVVV-esque gravity flipping mechanics. It’s playable in single or local co-op multiplayer and features beautifully animated cutscenes between each level as Reggie’s adventure takes some unexpected turns.
It’s a fantastic looking game with an adorable little fruity hero, a wonderfully weird story and some extremely high quality animation.
