Resident Evil Resistance is now in open Beta on PS4 and Xbox One, with the Steam open Beta going live at 5pm UTC.
As we mentioned during the closed Beta sign up Resident Evil Resistance is an assymetric multiplayer Resndent Evil spin-off that pits four survivors against a nefarious Mastermind as they attempt to escape from a monster-filled Umbrella facility. Each of the survivors have their own unique abilities that will help them fend off the monsters but the Mastermind can set traps, lock doors, place monsters and even control monsters or the deadly Tyrant.
It’s a great looking game that should offer a nice mix of teamwork and survival horror as players try to escape the facility. The full game will come bundled with the Upcoming Resident Evil 3 remake, but you’ll be able to play the Beta from until April 3rd. PS4 and Xbox owners can pre-download the Beta now so they can jump straight in on the 27th.
