Restart Zero is a cyberpunk-inspired twin-stick top-down shooter set in 2237 where a high-tech lab’s AI supercomputer realizes humans are the problem and creates an algorithm to control them, leaving you as the chosen one who must stop it and save humanity.
In Restart Zero, fighting against numerous opponents controlled by the supercomputer means using different weapons like pistols, rifles, and shotguns while battling bosses with strong abilities using your dash ability wisely to survive. Your companion drone helps with various abilities, allowing manual control to hack unreachable terminals so no door remains locked while solving riddles to continue your way further. Clearing obstacles with the gravity beam and developing skills to gain powerful new abilities becomes essential.
Playing the story alone or in local multiplayer with controller and keyboard support lets you defeat enemies with weapons and gadgets while improving stamina, life, and energy shields.
